My Spin On The People of Walmart
The people of Walmart is one of those sites that you thump yourself on the head and say why didn't I think of that? See for yourself at peopleofwalmart.com. It is a fairly simple site made up of photos, captions and people's comments regarding the posted photos. Little else, except a contest for a $100 Walmart gift card if your photo is the best/weirdest photo of the month and a request to follow on twitter, facebook and rss feed. I recently visited our local Walmart with camera poised and couldn't find any interesting subjects. This phenomena must be unique to the Walmarts in the southern and west coast states. I'm sure that if I visited my hometown back in West Virginia, I would find some interesting subjects at one of the Walmarts there. A lot of the photos are funny, but the captions that accompany them, aren't. So, I have a few examples of some of the photos and the captions that I would have put with them.
