It's spring again!  My blog was in hibernation.  I'll try to do better this year.  I planted some sweet grass for the Smokester, some lettuce and spinach (great cool weather crops). Usually you see the crocus peaking up out of the snow.  It was a 67 degree day in the Burgh and one of those days that you just had to get out into the garden.

   

He-e-e-eres, the Smokester!  Two days before Spring and in the garden with Smokey.  Smokey is of the Ole Yeller breed, she is a black mouth Cur.  Boy does she love to tree those squirrels.





  Another renegade squirrel with someone else's nut.  STOP! THIEF!? Officer, over here!

You might recall a previous post regarding an incident involving some renegade neighborhood squirrels who thought that I had gathered some walnuts for their enjoyment and looted my pile without leaving a single nut.
